The year 2021 marks an important milestone for the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), as this year, FEB is celebrating its 25th Anniversary of the Silver Jubilee.
This celebration marks a significant milestone from our humble beginning in 1996. Over the year we have changed so much. We began our journey with only two economics program; and then progressively we added marketing, corporate management and finance programs; and finally we started our accounting program.
Moreover, we have moved beyond the traditional thinking of being a mere higher education provider.

Today, FEB plays a significant role not only in providing holistic and contemporary education curriculum; at the same time, we are active in research and other scholarly activities. Our faculty is at the forefront in the advancement of contemporary business and economics knowledge and at the same time, nurturing outstanding graduates with high interpersonal skills in various fields of economics and business. It took us 25 years to reach this level of achievement. Therefore, the 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee celebration will acknowledge academicians, staff and students' outstanding achievements and at the same time appreciate our stakeholders for their continuous support to FEB throughout our 25 years' journey.
In celebrating this commemorative anniversary, several events throughout 2021 will be organized. To kick start the celebration, a soft launching ceremony of the 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee will be held on the 4th of January 2021. This is our curtain raising ceremony. Subsequently, we will hold academic and research seminars, a ceremony to launch the FEB coffee book, several industry and community engagements, and alumni meetup, and several fun activities such as Meow Explorace and others.
Let us celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Silver Jubilee in the spirit of togetherness and camaraderie.
