The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree programme is a rigorous doctoral programme by coursework, specifically tailored for executives, professionals and leaders in both private and public sectors.
The programme provides an opportunity to pursue a postgraduate qualification beyond an MBA while developing advanced knowledge in business research, theories and current business trends.
Students are guided by experienced academicians and practitioners throughout their doctoral journey.
Scholar-Practitioner
Develop advanced business knowledge and research capabilities to position yourself as an expert scholar-practitioner within your organisation.
The programme is offered under a trimester system and is also available at UNIMAS Learning Centres.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must fulfil one of the following academic qualification pathways.
A Master's Degree (Level 7, MQF) in related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate.
A Master's Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate, subject to relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment.
A Master's Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields without relevant working experience, subject to passing prerequisite courses.
Other qualifications equivalent to a Master's Degree (Level 7, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.
Minimum IELTS Score of 6.0 or equivalent: TOEFL 525, TOEFL Computer Test 196, TOEFL IBT 60 or MUET Band 4.

The DBA programme is available in both full-time and part-time modes.
Teaching and learning activities are conducted during weekends — Saturday & Sunday.
